Rainbow Loom Bracelets

Emi and Kenzi got some mail from some special kids this week.  Inside was a gift card to Barnes and Noble and Rainbow Loom bracelets.  Ryan, Megan and Kevin, thanks so much for thinking of them!

Happy New 2015!

We had some friends over to ring in the new year, so we decorated, made food and came up with some fun games.  We weren't sure how late the kids were going to make it until midnight...

  

...apparently at this age we didn't have too much trouble with staying up late.

The kids were mostly happy and no major meltdowns!

The adults were able to chat, snack and enjoy a few drinks.

Bai Tong

Last time we ate at Bai Tong in Redmond Kenzi noticed the cushion seating by the wall.  We decided to try the Bai Tong in the Highlands and by surprise we were seated at a table with these nice cushions.  Kenzi was more than happy with our spot.  

Barbies!

Eveytime Emi and Kenzi are asked what they want for Christmas they have said Barbies.  I wasn't sure if they kept asking for them because Daddy is so opposed to Barbie or if they really wanted them.  I never got into playing with Barbies when I was little but we were not planning on getting them.

They were SO excited to get this gift from their boys {Nath and Kase} oh the look on their faces and cheers of excitement were the best on Christmas Eve.  Thanks for the Barbies Fernando's!

Christmas Prom

Christmas Prom was FUN!  Emi and Kenzi were so excited to dress up and celebrate Christmas with our family at Auntie Christine and Uncle Eric's house.

Everyone enjoyed the yummy meat loaf and baked potatoes, endless snacks and drinks!  Thank you Christine and Eric for hosting!

Kindergarten Kafe

Emi's Kindergarten teacher is just wonderful, since the beginning of school she few family activities that are really fun and related to their curriculum. Today we were invited to Kindergarten Kafe at lunch time.  Each student was invited to bring some food to share 

{the kids got to pick a food to share from the food groups they were learning about}

On her desk was a gift that she made.  She wanted her gift to go to her cousins that visited this summer from Philadelphia {Ryan, Megan, and Kevin} so thoughtful.

After lunch Emi and her friend Emily took turns reading to us.  It's always so fun to see Emi at school!

Kenzi was thinking she was pretty funny for wearing mommy's hat today.
