Children's Garden Egg Hunt

Today was the egg hunt at Children's Garden...we have attended the egg hunt the last 3 years for Emi and this year Emi is an alum.  It's fun to see Kenzi at her school.

Listening to Bonnie, she always begins these events with such a warm welcome.

Kenzi's First t-ball Practice/Game

Kenzi had her first t-ball practice and game (they practice and then play a game right after).

Kenzi wasn't so sure about playing t-ball today but she does a great job hitting the ball and shows interest at home...hopefully after a few more practices she'll become less timid.

Oh I almost forgot to mention...she has the best coach!  Daddy!!!

Erich is so patient and encouraging, he loves sharing his love of sports with Kenzi (and Emi too).

Four Friend

Auntie Corey offered to take the girls for a quick playdate yesterday {thank you!!!}

They had a blast of course!!!  These 4 are really a fun bunch!

Portland with the Emiley's

We indulged in a kid-free weekend with the Emiley's this weekend!  {Thanks to Auntie Jeanie and Uncle Marc for taking the girls for the whole weekend!}  We had such a wonderful time in Portland with this lovely couple.

After checking in {The Benson Hotel} we headed to Tasty n Alder for drinks and dinner.

Here we are the first night!  We had a delicious meal {duck duck potatoes, mussels, seared scallops and more!}


The next day the guys ventured off on their bikes to for various beers.  Emily and I shopped and shopped and shopped and  then finally we ate at Maurice's the cutest french luncheonette!  We had the fluffiest quiche and the most delicate butter cookies with tea of course!


We ended at Clyde and Common for dinner and took advantage of the 3 course meal event.

The next morning was beautiful {again} and it was warm enough to sit outside and indulge in one more fabulous meal at Cheryl's before heading home.


Portland you were good to us!  Beautiful weather, delicious food, and we came with the best company!  We will be back!

Stevens Pass with the Fernando's

Here we are beginning our adventure to Stevens Pass.  First stop dinner at Teddy's Bigger Burgers in Woodinville.  The littlests really know how to start off a trip...nap before dinner...

Emi and Nathan were ready for a dinner date!  They decided to sit together at a high table.

These kids really know how to relax...snuggled up for a movie before bed.

Kids are in bed, time for checkers {while Corey and I worked on craft projects}.

The next morning we were ready to find snow!

Kenzi's first time on skis, she did pretty well and seemed interested.  We didn't want to push her though since we want her to learn with a ski instructor {next year}.

These 2 were troopers, they had fun playing in the snow while Emi and Nathan skiied for several hours.  The parents took turns...it was a fun day in the snow for all!

Kenzi's 4th Birthday

Our baby turned 4 today!

Kenzi had a fun birthday party to celebrate turning 4 {the day before her actual birthday}

Her theme of choice was Strawberry Shortcake.  It turned out to be more like a "strawberry theme" but she was happy with it!

On the morning of Kenzi's birthday we waited for her to wake up...

She was super sweet and surprised to find her door decorated and a present.

Cousin Melanie spent the night and all 3 were happy, happy to be together on Kenzi's special day.

After breakfast they played, Kenzi tried on her new butterfly wings from Kasen and Nathan.

Kenzi had Little Gym and then we had lunch at Mod Pizza...last stop was another fun treat...manicures!  Happy birthday Kenzi, you are so much fun and growing up way too fast!  XOXO

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to us! Emi and Kenzi let is sleep in and a little while later Emi brought up this tray. Flower shaped cheese (she couldn't find the heart cutter), coffee, oranges, and morning work. Dad/Mom loves... what a sweet way to start our day!  Emi also said that she wrote "Mom loves" and "Dad loves" instead of "likes" since it was Valentine's day.  She's all about details!  Thanks girls you are the sweetest, we love you!
