Ski trip #1

We made it up to ski after our trip to Suncadia.  It was so beautiful and the snow was perfect at the summit!  Can't wait for more ski trips this season.  Emi and Nathan picked up skiing easily and had a blast.  Kenzi practiced a little bit on the magic carpet and she did pretty good!  I'm hopeful we can convert Erich and soon we will be a skiing family of four!

Suncadia

We were invited to Suncadia {thank you Foley/Chui family} after Christmas.  We all had snow-much fun!  We are so lucky to have friends and kids that get along so easily so that even the parents can enjoy some down time too!

Cricket Winter Celebration

We attended winter celebration with the Children's Garden.  Kenzi's class did an adorable job fulfilling the job of helpful shoe making elves.  She has certainly come out of her shell more this year as a cricket, so fun to watch her!

Happy Holidays blog readers!  I am very behind these days on posts...I plan to catch up before the new year!  Please check back to see what we have been up to.

Disneyland

We finally made it to the happiest place on earth!  The girls had a fun time and we are glad that we were able to squeeze this trip in before they got too old to experience the magic of Disneyland.  The last time Erich had been to Disneyland was before he started college and I went the summer before I started teaching.  Going with Disneyland and experiencing it with your own kids made it exciting and new for us as parents.

Emi was very brave and went on a lot of rides {Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, California Scream, and Matterhorn}.  Kenzi was adventurous as well, the Matterhorn was probably the biggest ride for her.  Both girls LOVED it's a Small World and the firework show was also another favorite. Of course we rode the tea cups, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Ariel's Grotto and waited in line to see some princesses too.

I need to find pictures of us at Disney but here are the girls at the airport before heading home.
