I couldn't help but smile and feel proud of Kenzi's master piece, before most of her paintings were just paper covered with paint.  This was the first of many :)

Kenzi doesn't take naps much anymore but she fell asleep on the way home from a friend's house today...she's getting so big!

Daisy's

I forgot to mention Emi's a Girl Scout/Daisy.  

This is her troop of girls at a fun "sweet shop" event where they made all sorts of goodies with various candy.  Such a fun event with a sweet group of girls!

Ski

Our second trip up to Snoqualmie was still fun but we could have used a lot more snow!

The mountain was pretty bare...please do the snow dance for us!

Back to School

We all know how hard it is to wake up for school after enjoying lazy mornings during break.

I usually get the girls up by 7:15am, this morning I let them sleep in a little bit while I got myself ready, made breakfast and packed lunches.

Still pretending to be sleepy heads...

they thought this was so funny to pretend to fall back asleep right before loading 

up in the car.  It has been a tiring week but I think they both missed school and 

are happy to have our school routine again.

Sunny Day!

It was a beautiful warm January day and we didn't have anywhere to run off to after school so we walked to pick Emi up from school this afternoon.

I just can't say enough about the amazing view behind the school.

The girls took off after we left school...happy to enjoy the sunny afternoon!
