Zoo!

It seemed like we had the zoo all to ourselves.
It wasn't raining but Kenzi insisted on using the umbrella.

Emi and Kenzi both got to feed the penguins!

Kenzi decided to walk for a little bit with her hands in her pockets.

Emi fed the birds at the Willawong station before we left.

Kenzi and Kasen Play!

We are really trying to make an effort for Kenzi and Kasen to have playdates.  Today Emi went to play at Nathan's and Kasen came over to play with Kenzi.  I was so happy to get to spend time with these two little cuties.  They played, danced, and ate lunch together, super fun date!

Checking out the fish tank.

Hello!  Thank you for visiting our blog...we hope you are enjoying all the fun holiday festivities this month.  I was getting so excited about getting caught up on the blog and thinking I should be caught up before the end of the year.  A few weeks ago I was trying to upload some pictures and I got an error message saying I have used up all my space on this new blog!  UGH...I need to look into this more and figure out what to do about this, hopefully Erich will be able to help me out and we can be up and running again soon!  Check back and hopefully there will be more updates sooner rather than later.  Happy Holidays!!!

Christmas Tree Cutting

This year we cut our tree from Fall City Farm, we had a fun time picking out the right tree!
We got a little silly while we were on our search.

Kenzi and Daddy with the tree.
Daddy cut our tree in record speed, taking the trophy home this year.
Sorry Justin for breaking the saw...maybe next year :)

Summer Camp

I thought this picture deserved a separate post. Emi and Nathan have been friends since Emi was just 2 months old. These two really share a special friendship and this summer they attended the Farm House School in Gilman Village for a week of summer camp fun.

This was also the morning of Emi's 4th birthday!

Kirkland Farmers Market

We met up with Uncle George to check out the Kirkland Farmers Market. Unfortunately there are not any pictures from the market, but we did capture some pictures of rock tossing and geltao eating. Thank you Uncle George for a fun afternoon and all the delicious bakery goods *YUM*
Emi, Uncle George and Kenzi
The girls loved the water front and dropping rocks in the water.
Little miss wanted to eat her gelato on the bench.

Too tired to keep on walking but not too tired for gelato!

Our 5th Wedding Anniversary

For our 5th anniversary we decided to spend the day together as a family and to go out to dinner in the evening without kids.  I've been wanting to check out the Great Wheel Seattle since it opened earlier this summer so we took the bus down town and had a great day exploring!  After we got off the bus we found a bakery to get some sweet treats and coffee, then made our way down to the water front.  The Great Wheel was really neat, amazing view!  The weather was not super sunny but perfect for spending the day outside.  After our ride on the Great Wheel we enjoyed a yummy lunch and a ride on the carousel.  Erich and I enjoyed a quiet dinner at the Crab Pot together.  Happy anniversary to us!

Emi and Kenzi walking down the steep hill.

Nice little shot right outside the Seattle Art Museum.

There's the Great Wheel!

Emi took this shot of us on our walk to the Great Wheel.

Kenzi was not too sure about her first big carousel ride...

Emi's 4th Birthday

It's hard to believe this little girl is turning 4 tomorrow!

A few days before Emi's actual birthday we celebrated with some friends at the park.
She was happy!
Emi was really into planning her birthday this year.
She wanted the theme to be "Candy Land" and "rainbow."

She even wanted to help daddy make the cake.  The rainbow cake turned out yummy!
The night before her birthday, after she had fallen asleep we decorated her door way...

In the morning, Emi woke up and found the decorations and a few presents.

Emi was happily surprised to be greeted by us in the morning and of course to open a few gifts.

Sweet lil Tate taking a little snooze.

Time to cut the cake(s) yes, we had 2 cakes, just in case the rainbow cake didn't turn out.
*Lucky for us it did and it was yummy*

Nathan helping Emi open her gifts.

Brando and Luca also came to celebrate Emi's special day!

Uncle Justin, Grammie, and the girls!

At this point getting the girls to take any more pictures was tough
but Auntie Natalie and Uncle Justin found a way to make it fun!

Thank you everyone who came to celebrate Emi's 4th birthday with us!
