Play, play, play!

More and more I am noticing the girls playing together without me...today they all had their own sets of house keys, bags/purses and were pushing shopping carts, dim sum carts, dog walking, "driving cars" aka tricycle riding and visiting the library.
I don't even try to get all 3 to look at the camera anymore, plus I wouldn't want to interrupt their imaginary play!
Woa, woa, come on...

Dim sum anyone?

Kenzi was trying to park her cart under the table...but after banging into the table she realized it wasn't going to fit.

Emi really wanted to wear my purse like I a messenger.

Time to Rock Out!

Since we got Pandora back on the Tivo, Emi has been having daily dance parties.
Emi says,  "I'm going to put on some music, it's time to rock out!"

Somehow Kenzi decided she needed to incorporate riding a "neigh neigh" into the dance party.

Emi's got some great moves...

:)

Well what do you know...I had some spare time tonight so I decided to try blogging.  I went back to some "drafts" and was able to upload new pictures!  Hope you enjoy the new posts, you will have to scroll around since I back dated the new posts so they would still be in chronological order.

Of course I am still behind, so keep checking back I am hoping to get posts up from the holidays!  Happy New Year and thanks for coming back :)

Emi the Writer

Emi's latest thing is making books.  She really loves using the stapler and has her own stock pile of construction paper (thank goodness for Costco!)  We have a nice little collection of these books (stapled pieces of construction paper, folded in half.)
She was writing away today when I noticed that she had put a pencil behind her ear...

She's into asking me how to spell words and coming up with great ideas!
Her latest writings were her ideas for Kenzi's birthday party.

Kenzi's Fever

Emi came down with a fever just before the new year, so of course a few days later Kenzi came down with a fever too.

Here she is cooling off with frozen blueberries.
Note the container of puffs that didn't leave her side (of course she is way too old for them), but she insisted on her own container after seeing her cousin's puffs...good thing I guess since that's all she wouldn't up for eating.
