Playdate with Bryn and Natalie

We were invited to Bryn and Natalie's house for a playdate.  Kate is one brave mama for allowing them to do their make up on her white chairs.  They had so much fun!

Mariners Game

We joined our friends for a Mariners Game this weekend (they played the Angels and the M's won!)  Emi had been to a game once with Erich this was Kenzi's first game and our first going as a family.

Uncle Trent, Tate and {Auntie Steph} also came to the game with us.  

It was so fun to watch the game with our good friends and all the kids.

Tire swing

I just love these two girls!  Kenzi was ready for a ride on the tire swing and Emi was more than happy to give her lil sister a push.

Paint Date

Emi and Nathan had a "Paint Date" today.  It was also Earth Day, so they made these "birds nests" at school.  Emi had been looking forward to this day for some time.  We were unable to make it to Nathan's Paint Party on his birthday so we set this special date up for the two love birds.

Emi painted a heart plate and Nathan painted a motorcycle.

They were really serious about painting...I will have to update this post with pictures of their finished products...stay tuned...

Yard Work

Emi was interested in helping Daddy with the yard today.  She helped mow the debris up after Erich thatched the lawn.  We can't wait for our luscious lawn to grown in!

Pizza Pizza!

My cute little pizza maker!  We love making yummy pizzas,  our favorite toppings are: mushrooms,  olives and artichokes.

Carousel Riverfront Park

We were in Spokane for Great Grandma's memorial service and we made a stop at the carousel at Riverfront Park.

After the carousel we went out to check out some rides...this was the only one that Kenzi and Emi could ride together.  Kenzi really liked it and Emi was feeling too grown up for this caterpillar ride but still went along with her little sister.

Typical Tuesday

On Tuesdays we typically head into Fall City for story time and then come home for lunch.  We had sunshine this morning so I packed snacks so that we could stop by the park before heading home after the library.

Before getting into the car, Emi wanted to take the girls over to see if her sugar snap pea plant had sprouted yet...and it had not...

They also walked up to check out some daffodils that had bloomed in our neighbors yard and were walking back together.  Emi was their leader of course and she picked out her own outfit today accessories and all!
