Cousins

I snapped these two sweeties pictures randomly.  I love how Emi really loves Melanie just like she is her own little sister.  Melanie also looks up to Emi and loves her cousin very much!  I can't wait to see Melanie as a big sister, she's going to be great!

Issaquah Train Depot

After a trip to Yum-e Yogurt we walked over to check out the trains.  These two sisters were having a fun start to the Memorial Day Weekend!

Dr. Kenzi Smick

Uncle Joe sent us home with some masks for the girls.  Kenzi immediately wanted to wear hers and get the doctor kit out!  Dr. Kenzi Smick is ready for your check up! 

While Emi was at school this morning I brought out my paper punches and some glue.  Kenzi loves using glue just like her big sis.  Melanie was interested too but took a little break to eat some ice.

I finally remembered to buy these Brain Quest Questions for Emi (she had seen them at Nathan's house).

After going through the 4-5yr I was back for the 5-6yr.  They are so engaging for Emi and by doing them I am learning which skill areas I can help Emi develop in...like her number sense.  Here she is working on writing numbers and counting.  Emi really loves to learn and it's so nice that she's willing to let me teach her :)

Mother's Day!

I had the best Mother's Day!  I started the morning out with my tutoring job, then met Erich and the girls for some shopping.  We ended up going to Kirkland to enjoy the sunshine and had lunch on the steps near the water.  

After eating Emi and Kenzi had to dip their toes in the water.

After our adventures in Kirkland we headed to Coulon Park.  Kenzi took a little nap in the car and Emi played on the warm playground, then we had dinner at Ivar's.  Kenzi was loving the fries.  We ended with shakes from Kid Valley and a nice leisurely walk back to the car.

These 2 have the best Daddy I could ever imagine for them!  Thank you for a wonderful Mother's Day, I loved spending the day with my family!

Country Village

We finally made a trip out to play at Melanie's house.  Emi and Melanie played while Kenzi napped.  

After nap time we went to Country Village, there were shops, animals, a play area and some rides.

Here are the 3 Musketeers --there will be a 4th before the new year!  Not from us though :)

The weather was sunny and warm, perfect for observing horses.

Emi climbed up high on the wobbly ladder, she's at the top of a pirate's ship!

One final stop to look for the ducks.  We saw a mommy and her 3 little ducklings, so cute!

Country Village, we will be back again!
