Halloween

Halloween was really fun this year.  Kenzi got to paint her face at school.

Here's Emi's class on Halloween.  I volunteered to plan the party.  The kids got to dress up, make some crafts, and eat some snacks, they were happy Kindergarteners.

After school we met up with our Children's Garden Friends to trick or treat at Gilman Village.  {It was our first time}  The kids had so much fun.  Each store handed out candy and within about 45min we were ready to head home for dinner.

We stopped for a quick dinner at Mod Pizza in the Highlands and 

then headed home for some trick or treating in our neighborhood.

We were so lucky to have dry and not too cold weather for trick or treating.  

We joined our friends {The Miikki's} it was a great night for all! 

Cheesy bagel

Kenzi loves her Panera cheesy bagel.  Today I interrupted her bagel eating {which is serious business} for a photo and this is what I got.  She is always making me laugh!

Abby's 1st Birthday

It's pretty hard to believe that our littlest cousin is ONE!

These two girls are so much fun.  We love having playdates with our sweet friend Kendall.

Jubilee Farm

The Ladybug Class met for their pumpkin tour at Jubilee Farm in Carnation.  It was a wet and cold kind of day...the kids were all prepared with rain coats and boots.  

Splashing in the puddles was a must!

I was so lucky to get to take a trip to Napa with a great bunch of girls {mommies}.  

We ate, drank, and ate some more!

We were so proud of our little Ladybug Kenzi!  

We conferenced with her teacher Cara this morning and she is doing fantastic in school.

My birthday

I had a birthday {my 34th} I celebrating with dinner at my parents.  

My dad my a a favorite of mine, kimchi stew.

Later that week Erich and I went out with some of his co workers to the Corson Building in George Town.  We enjoyed a delicious meal {Iberian inspired seafood dinner} 

with wine pairings, it was amazing!

At the end of the week I went to a get away at my friend's cabin in Hyak.

I was spoiled by my lovely RSD friends with thoughtful gifts, cake, food and wine.  

I love how we all keep in touch after all these years!

Salmon days

We met up with Melanie, Abby, Nathan and Kasen and Tate for Salmon Days adventures...

Today the weather was perfect and the kids did great!

After eating we headed over to the hatchery to check out the salmon.

Kendall's 4th Birthday {Frozen}

We were invited to celebrate Kendall's 4th birthday with her, Frozen style.  

Kenzi and Kendall has some fun play dates this summer and hadn't seen each other for a while but still picked up right where they left off.  {I think Kenzi thought she really had to work her poses for these pictures since it was "princess" party."}

New Beds

We did some rearranging this weekend.  Kenzi got the bunk beds set up in her room.

Emi got a queen size bed moved into her room.

Now we have more space in our bonus room to play and hopefully we can get a 

couch up there once the playhouse finds a new home.  The girls are both enjoying their new spaces.

Wiki wiki walk-a-thon

This was a fun and busy week for us!  Emi's school had it's first spirit week to get everyone pumped up for the Wiki Wiki Walk-a-thon.  Wiki wiki is means "quick" in Hawaiian.

Emi was not interested in dressing up on PJ day {Monday}, I didn't get a picture of her on fancy dress up day {Tuesday} which was also picture day but she didn't really get fancy, just a nice shirt for her picture.  {Wednesday} was Hawaiian day so she was all about the lei and wearing a skirt. Kenzi wasn't about to miss out on showing her spirit either.

{Thursday} was sunglasses day, and luckily the sun was out and 

we wore our sunglasses all the way to school.

{Friday}

The first Friday was every month is parent playdate day when parents 

are invited to join their kids for recess and lunch.  It was fun to play with Emi at recess and see how smoothly everything goes in the lunchroom.

After school we headed to the walk-a-thon.  It was so fun!  Emi wanted to invite Melanie, Abby, and Auntie Jeanie, it worked out and they joined us!  During the walk-a-thon there was fun music, Hawaiian themed {kid friendly} specialty drinks, treats, inflatables, photo booth, a silent auction, and food trucks.  Super fun event and so happy that we are part of yet another wonderful school community.

We had a slumber party afterwards {oops no pictures} but in the morning

Playdough

Kenzi was playing with play dough this morning and she was so proud 

of this bunny that she cut out with a cookie cutter.
