Lately I have been into home decor and crafting it up for the holidays...

I took out the pictures and clutter from these 2 shelves and added some 

simple decor and flameless candles.

I made this fall wreath with a friend, it was so fun and easy to make!

I recovered our chairs...

and painted our dining table with chalk paint {my latest obsession}

Made this collection box for the homecoming fundraiser/

Made these "wish" bracelets for a friend's trip {goodie bags}

Kenzi's new hat

Kenzi is a little under the weather.  

Her nose was running and she's rocking her new hat on the couch to help her stay warm.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was festive, fun and we filled our tummies with yummy food.  

Unfortunately I failed to take more pictures this afternoon, hopefully 

Uncle Marc will share some of his pictures!

We decorated these cuties with name tags.

We are so happy that we could host our families for Thanksgiving dinner.

Harvest feast

Emi's teacher hosted a friendly harvest feast for families on Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  We began with a story and then  we were invited to eat some snacks that kids made for their family.

Grammie and Grandpa

Grandpa and Grammie came over to visit this afternoon.  Everyone had fun playing pass the ball.

ICE!

It's started to get really cold this week...Kenzi really wanted to play outside but I was too cold to take her to the park so she asked to go in the back yard.  She went straight for the water table and had fun fishing for ice in the freezing cold water!

Mom's bday

We celebrated my mom's birthday with a trip to Polished to get our nails done, then we had

lunch and did a little shopping.

No napping...

Kenzi has only been napping on the days she has school, 

otherwise it's been really hard to get her down for a nap.  

So today she got dressed up for nap time but didn't nap and helped me with laundry instead.

Buddies

Kenzi and Kasen were just relaxing together this evening.  

Corey and I were going to go to Bel Sq and the kids were going to have dinner together.

Dentist

This is how Emi feels about the dentist...

Kenzi looks like she is okay with the visit her 

{but really she only laid like that to get her top teeth cleaned} baby steps...

Emi was fine and had her top and bottom teeth cleaned.  {She picked fruit punch fluoride}  

Both checked out without cavities or concerns, yay!

Painting

Emi's girl scout troop met to paint {and earn their painting badges} at Mud House Pottery.  

Emi and Kenzi love painting pottery, today they painted these adorable turkey hand print plates.  

I can't wait to see them all fired up!

Each time we paint, Kenzi gets more patient and careful with her work.

Orange Cat

Orange cat had been missing for some time {and it's a good thing we found her because we are borrowing her from friends}.  Kenzi found her in out picnic basket when I was cleaning out our laundry room...so I would say she'd been missing since the end of summer.  I was relieved when we found the cat.  Kenzi was so happy and ready to take care of her again!

White board

Almost every afternoon Emi comes home from school and heads into the downstairs playroom to have some downtime.  I went to check on her and found this lovely drawing on our white board.  This white board has been great for both Emi and Kenzi, they love to play teacher with it and practice their writing and drawing.

Serres Farm

We met up with some friends at Serres Farm {where we cut our Christmas tree last year}.  

It was the first time we had come for pumpkins...it was a great spot!

We found some great pumpkins and gourds too!  

Then checked out the corn maze...

then the animal train...

then duck races...major hit!

Then it was time for some lunch at Tipsy Cow {in Redmond}...yummy burgers and fries!

Homecoming

The Children's Garden had their first ever homecoming event this year and it was a success!

Thank you Cami for organizing this amazing and FUN night!

Trouble

Instead of dressing up in our homecoming bests the event was casual sport attire.

We had a great time supporting The Children's Garden School.
